Not the worst of times, but far from the best.
This has not been a good week. Or, for that matter, a good year.
Sometimes I wonder why I even bother. Then I remember. Apathy and failure, not necessarily in that order.
I'll be reclaiming the PowerBook on Friday, as well as sending off another complaint to Visa.
After that, I'll decide what to do next.

I just want to say... why you bought an apple computer. The majority of people on this planet now use a normal PC. Its sounds like more hassle then it is worth this apple computer you have got. No doubt, you will have more sleepless nights to come...good luck.
The computer is normally quite well behaved, has served me usefully for years, and I bought it because I still consider it better than the alternatives.
It's the company that promotes a deceptive extended warranty plan and fails to honour their promise which is the problem.
